Appreciation thread for fun games w/o big English fanbases

The Asuka 120% BURNING Fest. franchise is often overlooked, especially its very first installment for the also lesser-known Fujitsu FM TOWNS computer.

It may look like a Street Fighter Sailor Moon hybrid, but after looking deeper, it has an interesting plot about modern-day school girls qualifying for a tournament using their school occupations as special abilities.

It earned several sequels and versions, but right at the Sega Saturn version known as Limited, it included the male school principal in the list of fighting characters, making Asuka 120% technically or less of an all-female fighter. The Saturn version was the final game the original creators were involved in the development of, making Final and especially Return inferior to it.

Here is the only gameplay video of its playthrough using Asuka Honda, the lead character of the franchise. I spent an enormous amount of time seeking the 3-disk game on the Internet, and no luck until I found it on Yahoo! Japan auctions and successfully got 2 official copies, then struggled to dump and preserve them online. But the copy protection was quite tough to remove, until someone in a popular forum cracked it.

EDIT: It's gameplay elements predate similar ones found in Arc System Works' Guilty Gear franchise and Examu's fighting games like the Arcana Heart series.
