Puchi Ogura #3 and Kiremoth seem confident about fighting Starfy, #4 seems to have emotional problems and not be in control of his elemental switch, #5 has anger issues while Numan seems to absorb anger (Also, "I will knock you down" reminds me of Garland from Final Fantasy), #6 also seems confident in battling, #7 seems to be a bit of a strategist, #8 also doesn't seem confident in his fighting skills like #2, #9 and Jiiyan seem to be nicer than the others and Jiiyan begs for you to return the treasure to #9 as it apparently means everything to him before actually fighting you, and #10 tries to try to excuse his loss as a fluke before fighting you again. It seems like the "connections between people" thing with the Puchi Oguras and their partners was true, and I feel kinda bad about fighting #9 and Jiiyan now.

Yes. They have shared anger or hatred too. Kiremoth shows aggression and swears. In that way Puchi Ogura #3 may have been brought up to deal with stresses by unloading aggression himself. He appears to be loyal to Kiremoth (or may be frustrated with the situation) and shows strong determination to defeat Starfy. At the same time it's interesting he has a cute side to him, ending his sentences in "nya".

I personally don't like the word insane, but Puchi Ogura #4 seems to be really distressed, emotionally troubled, with the long sounds he makes, hesitations. Yes, I get the impression that he may not be in control of his elemental switch too. The sounds he makes when he transforms into his ice form makes me think that he may be shivering from the cold he may be experiencing in that form.

I am wondering whether "オラアアア" is not actually the variation of "おれ" (I) but actually "Holaaaa". Curiously, Japanese Wikipedia suggested that "ora" (オラ) is the name of the Komodo Dragon native to Komodo Island, but Puchi Ogura #4's Picture Book description refers to them as serpents. I was always under the impression they were dragons, so it's nice to learn this.

The key word is "ぶったおす" (ぶっ倒す, to knock down). I searched for that word and Garland's name in Japanese (ガーランド) and Google suggested this threatening quote, 『ガーランドをぶっ倒しているうちに』. - "Garland will knock your house down".

Yes. He speaks in a 'manly' way and like Moe he is one of the characters who uses オレサマ (oresama), which is viewed as a highly conceitful way of referring to oneself.

Yes. He also uses オレ which is seen as boastful, but not as boastful as オレサマ.

Same. I don't like the thought of seeing Jiiyan worry after Puchi Ogura #9 is hurt.

Yes. When you play the story without understanding, I feel that with the size of the game that there is so much hidden away that you miss. I like some of the small details in the text as well, such as the character's speech patterns and style.

So, it could be said there is a lot more expression that can be said in Japanese than English, but in so little words. Japan was raised from a feudal period originally; and their culture is traditionally a very modest one.
